Wendi Yang is a certified yoga therapist who believes in yoga’s ability to heal. Her personal journey began during a challenging life transition abroad, where yogic breathing helped her navigate anxiety, adapt to change, and rediscover calm amidst chaos. This transformational experience became the foundation of her mission: to help others manage stress, pain, and daily pressures through mindful movement and breathwork.

A former long-distance runner, Wendi turned to yoga after years of physical strain left her with postural imbalances and chronic pain that conventional therapies couldn’t resolve. She later trained extensively in yoga and yoga therapy at VYASA Yoga Singapore, where she deepened her understanding of the body-mind connection and the therapeutic benefits of breath, alignment, and stillness.

Wendi now works with both private clients and corporate teams, offering tailored wellness solutions that meet modern workplace needs. She specialises in Self-Management of Excessive Tension (SMET), a yoga therapy approach designed to reduce stress, ease physical discomfort, and enhance focus—all through simple, effective techniques employees can use at their desks, during meetings, or in high-pressure moments.

Her programs address common workplace health issues such as neck and back pain, hypertension, digestive discomfort, and mental fatigue. With professional training in yoga therapy, stress management, and alignment principles, Wendi crafts personalised sessions that are accessible, practical, and impactful—no matter your team’s fitness level or experience with yoga.

Grounded, calm, and compassionate in her teaching, Wendi believes that yoga doesn’t need to be complex to be effective. Yoga can be simple and safe for everyone.
